The story
Returning to Earth as an imitator, the legendary Mexican artist Pedro Infante must prove that he is no longer a womanizer to enter paradise.
What it’s like
Warm, playful and sentimental, with the easy charm of Mexican popular cinema and the ballads and singing that come with it. The premise is a light afterlife comedy: a famous singer's return to earth is a test of his character, so the tone moves between gentle slapstick and tender drama about love and second chances. Expect music to carry many of the emotional beats, with romance and heartbreak handled with a wink rather than heavy grief. The pacing is brisk and episodic, built for an easy evening rather than sustained tension. Its intensity looks low: the material is about romance, faith-tinged redemption and laughs, not menace or cruelty. It suits a relaxed weekend night, a comfort watch with friends, or anyone who wants a sweet, melodic comedy with a little heart. It is best for viewers who enjoy classic Latin American music, nostalgic romance, and comedies where the central question is whether a charming rogue can become good.
