The story
The Pokémon Community Game is a free to play extension for Twitch. Streamers who add this extension to their stream can have their chat catch, trade, and battle their favorite Pokémon.
What it’s like
Bright, cheerful, and chaotic in the way of a crowded chat window: a simple browser-rendered Pokémon world drawn in clean, flat sprites over a plain grassy field, with bold colour and little shading. The sound is light and chiptune-leaning, with short blips for catches and battle hits layered over a looping tune that sits in the background like a radio left on. Nothing is slow or lingering; the rhythm is set by whoever is typing, so the screen flickers with new encounters, trades and small victories every few seconds.
