The story

The surreal misadventures of two best friends - a blue jay and a raccoon - as they seek to liven up their mundane jobs as groundskeepers at the local park.

What it’s like

Bright, flat-colored cartoon frames with thick outlines and saturated daytime palettes: a sunny suburban park, a bluish-lit night shift, and sudden detours into glowing, hyper-stylized fantasy worlds that look like someone turned the saturation up on a Saturday morning. The look is hand-drawn-feeling but loose and rubbery, with characters who stretch, squash, and freeze mid-gesture for comic effect, and a soundtrack of chiptune-tinged synth and rock riffs that snaps to attention whenever things get absurd. The vibe is lazy, goofy, and warm, with a slacker-buddy looseness that turns surreal fast; it suits a weekend cartoon binge, a lighthearted rewatch, or something on in the background while doing chores. Episodes are short and quick-cut, with sharp gags and sudden escalations that stay playful rather than menacing. Intensity is mild: cartoon slapstick, mock-fights, and gently absurd peril, with no real gore and little that frightens, though some surreal imagery may feel strange to very young viewers. It is for people who want clever, gently chaotic comedy about friendship and boredom, with a nostalgic, low-stakes heart.
