The story

A former soldier is thrown into a brutal race against time when a critical medical delivery makes him and his unlikely partner the targets of a ruthless cartel. As the mission spirals into a deadly manhunt, every detour, delay, and bullet pushes them closer to failure. With betrayal closing in from every side, they must survive the chase and deliver their cargo to save the life of a little girl.

What it’s like

Brisk, escalating action with a comic edge, built around a ticking clock and a chase that rarely lets up. The mood is hard-driving and assertive, with the tension of a race against time and the grubby menace of a black-market underworld pressing in from every side. Expect a lot of motion, pursuit, and gunfire, with the violence brutal when it arrives but not dwelt on for its own sake. Its odd-couple pairing of a hardened former soldier and an unlikely partner gives the banter and the momentum a warmer, lighter counterweight, so the bleakness of the cartel plot never fully settles. The rhythm is fast and unrelenting, suited to a Friday night with friends, a restless evening when you want to be pulled along, or a fan of high-tempo action comedies who wants stakes without a slow build. It is not gentle, and it is not quiet: viewers seeking low-stakes calm should look elsewhere.
