The story
An ex-black ops team reunite to pull off a desperate heist in order to save the life of their leader’s eight-year-old daughter.
What it’s like
Brisk, pulse-driven action set in London, with a playful streak running alongside the tension. The mood swings between tight, ticking-clock urgency and lighter, banter-led moments among a reunited crew of former operatives. Heist logistics, a bomb threat and a cartel-linked diamond job give it a constant sense of escalating pressure, and the emotional core rests on a single father's desperation to protect his young daughter. Sign language is part of the storytelling, so communication often happens through gesture and attention as much as dialogue, which gives certain scenes a more watchful, visual rhythm. The intensity is high: kidnapping, explosives and armed confrontation are present, and the danger is more pulse-racing than graphic. It suits a Friday night with the lights down, or a fast-paced watch for viewers who enjoy ensemble thrillers with a warm, personal heart and a little humour between the set pieces. It is less suited to anyone seeking something gentle or low-stakes.
