The story
Mark leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it begins a journey to discover the truth about their jobs.
What it’s like
Cool, clinical whites and sterile blues dominate this series, with fluorescent corridors, bare walls and symmetrical, almost geometric framing that makes every office feel like a stage set. Its camera holds still and lets the unease build in long, unhurried takes, while the score swings between eerie choral drones and warm, retro pop that jars against the corporate hush. Its vibe is clinical unease with a dry, wry edge, the kind of quiet dread that suits a late night alone or a focused weekend binge. Pacing is measured, with episodes that turn on small reveals rather than action, and the emotional register shifts from bleak to darkly funny. The central arc follows a group of colleagues slowly confronting the limits of their own selves and the people who control them. Violence is rare and mostly implied, with some tense, disturbing moments of bodily intrusion and psychological cruelty that land more as dread than gore. It suits viewers who enjoy slow-burn mystery, workplace satire, and sci-fi that is more interested in identity and power than spectacle.
