The story

Bounced from her job, Erin Grant needs money if she's to have any chance of winning back custody of her child. But, eventually, she must confront the naked truth: to take on the system, she'll have to take it all off. Erin strips to conquer, but she faces unintended circumstances when a hound dog of a Congressman zeroes in on her and sharpens the shady tools at his fingertips, including blackmail and murder.

What it’s like

Glossy mid-nineties studio polish: bright Florida daylight over stucco and palm-lined streets, then the dim, pulsing red and purple of a strip club stage under spotlights, with a pop-and-lounge score that keeps the mood playful. The camera lingers on sleek offices and courtrooms, and the satire has a wink to it, so the sleaze feels more knowing than grim. Pacing is brisk and comic, with a noir-tinged thriller spine that tightens now and then into tension. Intensity is moderate: frequent nudity and sexual content in a softcore, dance-club register, plus crime, blackmail and a murder that arrives without much gore. It suits a lazy weekend evening, a comfort watch with a drink, or a night in when you want something sexy and silly with a little edge. It is for viewers who enjoy star-driven Hollywood comedies about power, scandal and a woman turning the tables on men who underestimate her.
