The story
A group of young adults working at a paradisiac resort live an unforgettable summer as they discover love, true friendships and devastating secrets.
What it’s like
Bright daylight over a resort pool and sand, with party lighting at night, sets a sun-warm, teen-drama mood that shifts between breezy and heavy. The vibe is glossy and romantic with an undertow of betrayal: summer-holiday energy, lots of kissing and dancing, and the slow tightening of secrets among staff who share a single season. Its pacing follows the rhythm of a long season, with episodes that lean on pool-deck gossip, late-night parties, and the push and pull of crushes turning into cheating and fallout. The people are young workers working out who they can trust, and their arcs move from giddy infatuation toward painful honesty. Intensity is emotional rather than violent: no gore, little fear, and romantic and sexual content in the form of kissing and suggestive scenes, with infidelity driving the drama. It suits a light binge over a few warm evenings, and it's for viewers who want escapist island drama with a soapy edge and an emotional payoff.
