The story
Years after filming a viral documentary in high school, two bickering ex-lovers get pulled back in front of the camera — and into each other's lives.
What it’s like
Warm, sun-washed summer light and a documentary-style frame: the show is built around talking-head interview segments shot against plain, tidy backdrops, cut with flashbacks to bright, grainy-feeling high school days in school corridors, sticky classrooms and open-air lots. The palette moves from cool, muted tones in the present-day interviews to saturated, golden warmth in the remembered past, so the look itself carries the gap between who these people were and who they've become. The mood is wistful and funny at once, a bittersweet comedy with a teasing, love-hate rhythm, the kind of bickering that slowly softens into tenderness. Dialogue and quips drive the pacing more than set pieces, with a light, pop-leaning score and plenty of room for silences and awkward glances. Intensity is low: some emotional sting and a few tearful moments, with no violence, gore or sexual content. It suits a rainy weekend binge, a comfort rewatch, or an evening when you want something sweet but not saccharine. It is for viewers who enjoy second-chance romance, nostalgia for school years, and characters who are funny because they are a little embarrassed by their own feelings.
