The story

A couple lives though three different lives over different eras as destiny conspires to make them fall in love with each other, against all odds.

What it’s like

Bright, saturated Bollywood studio colour with warm golden-hour glow on sunlit streets, sweeping wide frames and lush, decorative sets that shift in look from one era to the next. Sound leans on big, buoyant song-and-dance numbers, lilting strings and romantic film-score swells, with comic bustle and slapstick rhythm tumbling between the tender moments. The vibe is playful, sentimental and warmly romantic, a light-hearted escape with a wink. Its emotional arc follows two people who keep finding each other across lifetimes, with the romance building through teasing banter, reunions and the pull of fate, while the mood stays buoyant and hopeful. Intensity is low: some slapstick and comic peril, a few scuffles and tense confrontations, but no gore and little real menace. It suits a Sunday afternoon with a bowl of snacks, a comfort rewatch, or a group watch with friends. It is for viewers who want a sweeping, feel-good love story with spectacle, laughter and a happy ending.
