The story

The story of a middle-class man who works for a special cell of the National Investigation Agency. While he tries to protect the nation from terrorists, he also has to protect his family from the impact of his secretive, high-pressure, and low paying job.

What it’s like

Handheld, close-quarters camera moves between cramped, lived-in domestic rooms, with warm tungsten kitchens and crowded Mumbai flats lit by yellow ceiling bulbs, then cut hard to cold fluorescent government offices and dusty, sun-bleached streets where the frame turns sharp and jittery. The score leans on pulsing percussion and tense strings that spike at every raid, while the quieter scenes rely on ordinary household noise: pressure cookers, arguing siblings, a ringing phone. The mood is anxious and gritty, a restless blend of domestic tenderness and dread, best suited to a weeknight binge when you want momentum and don't mind being unsettled. Pacing is brisk, with episodes ending on hooks, and the emotional core follows a harried, decent father slowly losing his grip on keeping his two worlds apart. Intensity is high: frequent gunfire, bombings with bloody aftermath, hand-to-hand fights, and at least one harrowing interrogation scene; there is coarse language and some tense, suggestive dialogue, but no gore for its own sake. Not suited to anyone seeking something gentle. Made for viewers who enjoy grounded spy thrillers with a human, domestic heart.
