The story

When a cop who is just out of rehab takes the graveyard shift in a city hospital morgue, she faces a series of bizarre, violent events caused by an evil entity in one of the corpses.

What it’s like

Cold fluorescent light over steel tables and tiled corridors, with the blue-grey sheen of a city hospital at night. The palette leans sickly green and clinical white, broken by the flat amber of a police cruiser's dashboard and the dim hum of an empty basement. Camera work is mostly tight handheld on a single exhausted face, with quick push-ins and jump-scare framing in the morgue drawers, so the space feels small and airless. The sound is built on refrigeration hum, footsteps echoing down hard corridors, and sudden stingers that cut the silence. Vibe: tense, claustrophobic unease with a hard, sleepless edge. It suits a late-night watch alone with the lights off, the kind of horror that keeps you tense rather than soothing you. Pacing is brisk, with the tension ratcheting up across long, quiet stretches before sharp bursts of shock. Emotionally it turns on a woman in recovery trying to hold herself together under pressure, and her arc is one of fragile resolve against both fear and her own history. Intensity is high: frequent jump scares, bodily horror and disturbing corpse imagery, with graphic violence and gore in the later acts, and some drug-related and emotionally harsh material. Made for horror fans who want a grimy, procedural-style scare with a dark, unsettling mood.
