The story

The crew of a horror web series travels to an abandoned asylum for a live broadcast, but they encounter much more than expected as they move deeper inside the nightmarish old building.

What it’s like

Handheld, jittery found-footage framing from the cameras of a small web-series crew, with night-vision green and washed-out infrared turning dim corridors into grainy, low-resolution smears. Much of the picture is pitch dark, lit only by flashlight beams and phone screens, so the eye is always searching the edges of the frame. The sound design leans on rattling doors, distant scrapes, faint voices in empty rooms and sudden loud bangs against long stretches of tense quiet. The vibe is claustrophobic and restless, a rough live-broadcast dread with the ugly, unpolished feel of a camcorder that keeps running after everyone should have left. Pacing is steady and mounting: long wandering stretches through decaying wards build toward sharp scares and a chaotic final act. Intensity is high on fear and jump scares, with some brief bloody injuries and frightening apparitions, but no sexual content and no sustained gore. It suits a late-night watch with the lights off, and fits viewers who enjoy found footage, abandoned-building exploration, and paranormal dread over gore or romance.
