The story

Madrid, Spain, 2010. While the whole city follows the national team's successful participation in the World Cup, a group of daring thieves look for a way into one of the most secure and guarded places on the planet.

What it’s like

Madrid in summer 2010, with the streets full of flag-waving crowds, bar televisions, and the noise of a national celebration that the city can't stop watching. Against that backdrop the film runs on pulse and momentum: tight, plan-driven sequences in cramped underground spaces, contrasted with the loud, sunlit exuberance above ground. The vibe is nervous and kinetic, a crime thriller with a playful undercurrent, good for a fast evening watch or a night in with friends. Pacing is brisk and the tension builds through careful preparation and reversals rather than long quiet stretches. The emotional register stays fairly light: the central figures are charismatic professionals and outsiders, and their relationships shift under pressure. Violence is present, with some action and sharp confrontations, but it is not gory and does not dwell on cruelty. It suits viewers who want a heist with a lively sense of place, and those who enjoy caper films that prize cleverness, sleekness, and a sense of a city caught up in its own moment.
