The story
The Treadstone project, having created super spy Jason Bourne, turns its attention on a new protocol to develop unstoppable superhuman assassins.
What it’s like
Brisk, close-up camera work in cold, city-lit interiors: sterile labs and hotel corridors under flat fluorescent white, dim rooms lit by monitor glow, and night streets washed in neon and streetlight. Fights are shot tight and kinetic, with quick cuts and a pulsing electronic score that drives scenes forward. The mood is tense, controlled and clinical, with a steady undercurrent of paranoia rather than quiet reflection. It suits a late-night binge when you want momentum and don't mind being kept on edge. Violence is frequent and physical, mostly hand-to-hand combat, gunfire and chases, with some blood but little gore. Dread and suspense run stronger than horror. Emotional beats stay restrained, following operatives caught between loyalty and orders, and the pace rarely lets up. For viewers who enjoy espionage thrillers, who want stylish, high-tempo action with a cool, watchful tone, and who are comfortable with regular brutal confrontation.
