The story

A wannabe rapper from the outskirts of Mumbai and an affluent influencer elope to a coastal town, only to find themselves trapped in the pool of a derelict resort fighting for survival against the wrath of a ferocious crocodile.

What it’s like

Tense, confined survival suspense set against a coastal backdrop, where a derelict resort pool becomes the trap and the threat is a predatory crocodile. Hip-hop and creator-culture flavour runs through its world: a would-be rapper from Mumbai's outskirts and a wealthy influencer, two people from very different lives thrown together under pressure. The mood is restless and urgent, with the romance pulling against fear and the setting's isolation tightening the screws. Expect a fast-moving, peril-first rhythm, with moments of quieter tension between the scares, and an emotional register that shifts from playful to desperate. The threat is animal-driven danger rather than human cruelty, though the level of gore is not something to assume. It suits a night of genre-hungry viewing for audiences who enjoy survival thrillers with a romantic spine and a contemporary, online-age edge, and it will sit less comfortably with anyone looking for something gentle or low-stakes.
