The story
Decades ago, a hero from the stars left this world in peace. Now, the son of Ultraman must rise to protect the Earth from a new alien threat.
What it’s like
Clean, saturated CGI animation with bright daylight over suburban streets and high-school hallways, then sudden bursts of glowing energy and cityscape destruction that feel more like kinetic comic-panel spectacle than grim realism. The palette leans on cool blues, silver and fiery reds, and the rhythm is brisk, with short episodes built around transformations, cheerful banter and monster fights that arrive in tidy, escalating beats. The vibe is upbeat and earnest, a Saturday-morning-meets-anime energy that suits an afternoon with kids or a light weekend binge. Emotionally it stays warm and optimistic: a teenager who did not ask for his heritage learns to carry it, and the friendships and family ties do most of the heavy lifting. Intensity is moderate: kaiju battles and explosions in a cartoon register, with sci-fi peril and some scuffles but no gore, no sexual content, and little real fear. It is made for families, younger teens and anyone who wants tokusatsu-style giant-hero action without darkness or dread.
