The story

In 1993, Jisu and Jaehyeon, who met for the first time at the protest scene and being a first love to each other. After 26 years, Jisu and Jaehyeon accidently reunite.

What it’s like

Warm, wistful drama that moves between a student-era past and a present-day reunion, so the mood shifts with the timeline: the early scenes carry the charged energy of a 1990s street protest, and the later ones settle into a quieter adult register. Its vibe is tender nostalgia with a grown-up ache, well suited to a slow weekend evening, a rainy afternoon on the couch, or a comfort rewatch when you want romance that takes its time. Pacing is gentle and conversational, with the flashbacks doing much of the emotional work as the two lovers, separated for decades, learn how much their earlier selves still shape them. The intensity is low: the political backdrop is present but not graphic, with no gore and little physical danger, and the drama comes from regret, family responsibility and the question of whether a first love can return. It is for viewers who enjoy second-chance romance, a single mother rebuilding her life, and stories where history and personal feeling are woven together.
