The story

Prakash Rathod, a retired police commissioner recounts the most memorable case of his career wherein he was informed about a bomb scare in Mumbai by an ordinary commoner.

What it’s like

Tight, dim rooms and a cramped, sweaty sense of urgency: much of the film unfolds in a police interrogation room and across tense phone lines, with Mumbai's streets glimpsed through car windows and crowded market lanes. The palette runs to muted browns, fluorescent greys and the hard glare of daylight, and the camera stays close and restless during the bomb-threat sequences before settling into long, watchful takes of two men talking across a table. The sound design leans on ringing phones, ticking-clock tension and sudden silences, with little music to soften the edges. The tone is grim, controlled and suspenseful, with a steady undercurrent of dread about what might happen next. Intensity is moderate: the threat of explosions drives the stakes, with some brief violence and no gore, and the fear comes from anticipation rather than spectacle. The film suits a focused evening when you want a taut, talky thriller that rewards close attention. It is for viewers who enjoy procedural suspense, dialogue-driven tension and performances built on restraint rather than action.
