The story

Two childhood best friends enjoying their final seaside summer as they prepare for film school meet an aspiring athlete who ignites unfamiliar desires.

What it’s like

Sun-washed summer days on a Polish coast, with bright beach light, salt-hazed horizons and loose handheld framing that follows teenagers through sandy streets, cheap ice cream stands and rented rooms. The palette leans warm and sunlit, with the easy, slightly grainy texture of home-movie footage, and the soundtrack is bright indie pop and ambient seaside noise: gulls, waves, bike bells. The vibe is breezy, wry and sweetly restless, a last-summer-before-everything-changes mood with a playful, self-aware streak. Pacing is unhurried and conversational, with scenes that drift between banter, camera-play and quiet pauses. Its emotional register is light and amused, with gentle awkwardness about first crushes and shifting friendships; the arc follows two close friends whose bond is tested as new feelings arrive. Intensity is very low: no violence, no gore, and any sexual content is limited to mild romantic tension. It suits a lazy afternoon, a summer comfort watch, or background viewing with someone you know well, and it is for people who want warm, funny coming-of-age with a sunny seaside setting.
