The story
When a celebrated queer doctor in London is accused of sexual misconduct, her life unravels. Now under a storm of suspicion and scrutiny, her marriage fractures and the truth blurs. Her wife must decide whether to walk away, or fight for the woman the world is turning against.
What it’s like
Tense, grounded legal-domestic drama with a mystery undercurrent, built around pressure: a public reputation collapsing while a private marriage is tested from inside. The story follows a respected queer doctor in London who is suddenly accused of sexual misconduct, and her wife, who must decide whether to leave or stand by her while the truth stays uncertain. Its emotional register is anxious and intimate, with suspicion spreading outward from one household, and its pacing likely favours confrontations, doubt and slow reveals over action. Visual and sonic specifics are not described here. Intensity is mainly psychological and social: sexual misconduct is the central accusation, and the drama comes from dread, betrayal and public scrutiny rather than from graphic depiction. Suited to viewers who enjoy character-driven thrillers about trust, reputation and loyalty, especially those who want a serious, adult drama with ambiguity rather than a light watch.
