The story
After a horrifying PredAlien crash-lands near a small Colorado town, killing everyone it encounters and producing countless Alien offspring, a lone Predator arrives to "clean up" the infestation.
What it’s like
Dim, grimy night-time photography with sickly green and sodium-orange light, shadows crowding every corner, and a handheld, jittery camera that stays close to the chaos. The town's streets, forests and mortuary are cramped, wet and industrial, and the creatures are rendered in glossy CGI that reads as sleek and hard-edged rather than tactile. The score is a loud, pounding blend of synth pulses and percussive strings, with the quieter moments undercut by hissing, clicking alien noises. The mood is grim, relentless and bleak, with the pace driven by constant escalation rather than breathing room. Intensity is high: frequent bloody violence, gore, body horror and creature attacks, delivered in brutal, close-up bursts with little relief. Expect no gentleness here. It suits late-night viewing with friends who enjoy monster mayhem, and fans of loud, unapologetically violent creature features who don't need much character depth.
