The story

At the age of just 30, Maanav at the peak of his acting career gets caught up in a murder accusation, which turns his own life into an eccentric action thriller as he flees the country, with a vengeful politician hot on his heels.

What it’s like

Glossy digital frames with saturated colour, bright studio-lit interiors that flip into sun-washed European streets, and a restless, playful camera that loves a big reveal. The action is kinetic and cartoonishly staged, with fast cuts, chases through crowded squares, and brawls that play for laughs as much as thrills, all underlined by a loud, bouncing score. The vibe is breezy, self-aware and irreverent, the kind of film that sends up its own genre while still delivering its set pieces. It suits a Friday night with friends, a lighthearted watch after a long week, or background energy while doing something else. Pacing is brisk and rarely still, and the emotional register stays light, following a famous man who has to rediscover his nerve under pressure. Violence is frequent but mostly stylised and comic, with gunfire and fistfights and no gore or sexual content. It's for viewers who want a fun, mischievous action comedy with a wink at Bollywood excess rather than anything grim or emotionally heavy.
