The story
Seenu loves Sunaina but they're chased by a stalking cop, an infatuated beauty and her mafia don dad - can Seenu's heroics work?
What it’s like
Bright, saturated studio colour and a lot of motion: Bollywood comedy shot in wide, busy frames with sunny Goa-style beaches, crowded college grounds and garish interiors, the camera hopping along with the chases. Editing is quick and cheerful, the sound a loud, bouncy mix of dance numbers, slapstick percussion and bright pop-film songs, with few quiet moments. The mood is breezy and goofy, a light romantic farce with a coming-of-age streak as a lovestruck young man tries to win over the girl he likes while everyone around him escalates. Ideal for a loose Saturday afternoon, a silly comfort watch, or background fun with friends. Pacing is brisk and the arcs stay simple: an eager, clumsy hero gaining confidence and a little sense of himself. Violence is cartoonish and mostly slapstick, with bumps, scuffles and fight-dance sequences; no gore, and the menace is played for laughs. Romance is chaste and playful. Best for viewers who want exuberant, feel-good Hindi cinema with lots of song and light-hearted mayhem.
