The story

Two elite soldiers with troubled pasts are enlisted for a daring mission when a deadly masked madman threatens India's defenses.

What it’s like

Glossy, high-saturation digital images with sun-bleached daylight, sweeping drone shots over desert and city skylines, and night sequences lit in hot oranges and electric blues. Action is staged in big, wide-angle set pieces with fast cuts, slow-motion beats and a loud, percussive score that swells under every explosion. The vibe is bombastic and playful: a buddy-action spectacle with bickering banter, sentimental flashbacks and a light, cheeky comedic streak that undercuts the grim premise. The pacing is relentless, with few quiet moments between chases, fights and gunfights. Violence is frequent and stylized, mostly bloodless, with heavy explosions and punches landing with exaggerated impact; there is no sexual content and little real menace or gore, though the stakes are high and the tone can turn briefly sombre. The emotional register is earnest and loud, with the leads' rivalry softening into loyalty over the course of the story. It suits a Saturday-night watch with friends, a big-screen crowd, or anyone who wants a loud, colourful action film with humour and heart, and is less suited to anyone wanting something gentle or subtle.
