The story
What starts as a crazy one-night stand ends up in a relationship. But Dharam and Shyra fall out of love just as quickly. Where will life take them now?
What it’s like
Bright, sun-warmed Paris in saturated daylight: pastel apartments, café terraces, glossy tourist-postcard streets and bold Bollywood colour in costume and set design, with a lively, bouncy camera that favours quick cuts, playful pans and close two-shots during arguments. The score is upbeat pop and romantic ballads with a light French accent in the music and locations, and the rhythm is brisk and breezy, with song sequences breaking up the banter. The vibe is glossy, flirtatious and self-aware, with a wistful undertow once the romance cools. Two self-absorbed, witty people fall fast, then spar their way toward a more honest kind of attachment, with comedy doing most of the heavy lifting. Intensity is low: some sexual innuendo and suggestive scenes, a few heated fights, no violence, no gore, and nothing frightening. It suits a lazy weekend, a comfort watch, or a light evening when you want romance with laughs and a bit of bite. Made for viewers who enjoy sparkling banter, travel-brochure visuals and Hindi romantic comedy with a grown-up sting.
