The story

The story focuses on Yun Doo, a studious, normal girl. An old partner won't stop bothering her through messages, so she makes up that she has a boyfriend and posts a random photo of a guy. That picture turns out to be from Hyun Ho, one of the most popular and rebellious of the school. It's a school drama, with several romances in sight.

What it’s like

Bright, uncomplicated school-drama energy, with the comedy running on misunderstandings and a fake-boyfriend lie that snowballs. The mood is light and teasing, the kind of show that suits a weeknight after dinner or a lazy weekend stretch when you want something with a warm, bubbly register and no real dread. The central pressure is a persistent ex-partner sending unwanted messages, which gives the early episodes a nervous edge, but it stays in the realm of irritation and awkward mix-ups rather than real threat. Romance is the engine: a love triangle, a rebellious popular boy, a studious girl who never expected her plans to tangle with his, and several crushes stacking up around them. Pacing favors quick scene turns and reaction beats over long, quiet stretches, and emotional arcs move through embarrassment, teasing, and gradual softening toward first love. Violence is absent, and any sexual content is minimal. It suits viewers who want a playful, low-stakes romance with a school setting and a comfortable, familiar rhythm.
