The story

Teenage best friends Zoe and Becca set out to build their own fake ID empire, but when business starts booming, their life of crime gets way too real.

What it’s like

Bright, flat suburban daylight and bedroom-lit close-ups give this teen crime comedy a warm, slightly scrappy look, with the cramped rooms and sunny streets of ordinary school life. The mood is playful and quick, with a bouncy, upbeat score and a tone that stays light even as the stakes climb. Its energy is high-school gossip, nervous giggling and sudden panic, the feeling of something getting out of hand while you're still laughing about it. The pacing is brisk, with short episodes that move from scheme to complication without lingering. The emotional register sits between comedy and anxiety: a close friendship tested by greed, bluffing and the fear of being caught. The arc follows two friends who grow more reckless and more tangled in their own success. Intensity is low: the peril is social and legal rather than physical, with no graphic violence, gore or sexual content, though the criminal situations can feel tense. It suits a comfortable binge on a weeknight or a lazy afternoon, and fits viewers who want a fun, young-adult caper with a few real jolts and a clear sense of consequence.
