The story

18-year-old Kang Gyung-joon’s spirit suddenly ends up in the body of 30-year-old doctor Seo Yoon-jae, who is engaged to his high school teacher, Gil Da-ran. Things become even more complicated when Yoon-jae falls in love with another woman.

What it’s like

Bright, glossy studio lighting in classrooms, hospital corridors and apartment interiors gives this Korean drama the polished look of a network romantic comedy, with clean compositions and easy, readable framing. The sound leans on upbeat pop and tender piano cues that swell at the sillier moments and soften for the quieter ones. Its vibe is light and playful with a sweet undercurrent of awkwardness, the kind of thing that suits a lazy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or an evening when you want something amusing without much effort. The pacing is brisk, with comic misunderstandings and cheerful set pieces punctuating slower emotional scenes about who people are becoming and what they want. The tone stays warm and low-stakes, and the central imbalance of a teenager's mind inside an adult's life is handled mostly for laughs and gentle embarrassment. Intensity is mild: no violence or gore, a few kisses and romantic tension, and no graphic content. It suits viewers who want a cheerful, easy-to-follow romance with a bit of absurd charm, and those who enjoy Korean drama conventions.
