The story
In disguise as her friend, Ha-ri shows up to a blind date to scare him away. But plans go awry when he turns out to be her CEO — and makes a proposal.
What it’s like
Bright, glossy studio comedy with sunny daytime light, clean white office interiors, and saturated pastel accents, the kind of polished Korean romantic comedy where a bit of sweetness comes through the frame. Camera work is lively and quick: snappy cuts, exaggerated reaction shots, and playful mismatches between what characters say and what their faces give away. The score leans on bouncy pop and soft piano swells, so it moves between giddy and tender. Its vibe is light, flirty, and cheerful with a sly, comic edge, suited to a lazy weekend binge, a comfort rewatch, or something to unwind with after a long workweek. Pacing is brisk, with episodes that flip between set-up mischief and gentle emotional beats, and the central relationship builds from teasing rivalry toward open affection, with both leads gradually dropping their guards. Intensity is low: some awkward physical comedy, a few kisses, and romantic tension, with no violence and no graphic content. It is for viewers who want a warm, funny office-romance fantasy with heart and no real darkness.
