The story

Building furniture and friendships have a lot in common. Intention, effort, and hard work are needed for both crafts. This is a story of girls in a DIY club building both as they carve out their futures. None of it comes easy, but that doesn’t stop any of ’em. Furniture, friendships, and the future—they’re building it all with their own hands!

What it’s like

Bright, clean daylight through school windows, warm wood tones from the workshop, and the rhythmic sounds of sawing, sanding, and hammering give this anime an open, sunny feel. Its colour palette stays soft and cheerful, with sawdust-dusted workbenches and everyday classroom settings rendered in friendly, uncluttered detail. The mood is light and upbeat, with frequent comic exchanges and a pace that lets small moments of effort and progress breathe between the jokes. Emotional beats are gentle rather than heavy: a group of teenage girls slowly learns to trust one another, gets a little more confident in their abilities, and works through the ordinary anxieties of school life. Intensity is very low, with no violence, gore, or sexual content, and the only real tension comes from minor setbacks in a build or a friendship. It suits an easy weekend afternoon, a comfort rewatch, or background viewing while doing something with your hands. It is for viewers who want a warm, low-stakes slice of school life with a hands-on, creative streak.
