The story
Join Tadakuni, Hidenori and Yoshitake as they undergo the trials and tribulations of life in high school. Each episode presents the boys and their classmates in unique situations that you may or may not have faced in high school yourself.
What it’s like
Bright, flat, saturated colour and clean cel-style backgrounds give this anime a sunny, storybook look, with exaggerated character expressions and quick cuts that snap between deadpan stillness and sudden bursts of silly motion. Sound design leans on bouncy incidental music, comic sound effects and the occasional abrupt silence that lands a joke. Pacing is brisk and episodic, with short self-contained vignettes that move from one everyday school moment to the next, each often ending on a small after-credits stinger. The tone is light, affectionate and gently absurd, a parody of high-school routines that finds warmth in friendship and in the trivial details of classroom and corridor life. Its three leads are close, easygoing friends whose bond carries the show more than any larger arc. Intensity is very low: there is no real violence or gore, fear is minimal, and any cruelty is slapstick and rarely more than a playful jab. Some gags are crude or suggestive, but they stay cartoonish rather than explicit. It suits a lazy weekend, background viewing while doing other things, or a light comfort rewatch, and it is made for viewers who enjoy quick, goofy humour and a relaxed, cheerful mood.
