The story

Having conquered the Asian underworld, crime boss Don sets in motion a plan that will give him dominion over Europe.

What it’s like

Sleek, saturated night-time Europe: rain-slick streets reflecting neon signage, glossy digital capture with crisp high-contrast frames, and a constant parade of luxury interiors, sports cars and glass-walled offices lit in cool blues and hot oranges. Camera work is restless but controlled, with fast tracking shots, slick chase sequences and widescreen set pieces that favour spectacle over quiet. The sound is a driving mix of pulsing electronic beats, a glossy orchestral-pop score and punchy Bollywood-style song numbers that break the tension at regular intervals. Pacing is brisk and tightly edited, with the mood alternating between sly swagger and heist-style suspense. Violence is present in gunfights and fistfights, staged with a stylised, action-movie gloss rather than gore, and tension runs high but rarely lingers in dread. This is a slick, adrenaline-driven caper for viewers who want a stylish genre ride, a little romance and some charisma-led cat-and-mouse, not something gentle or contemplative.
