A former police officer gets hired by a pimp to trace missing call girls who work for him.
What it’s like
Hindi crime thriller shot in glossy Mumbai nightlife: neon-washed clubs, rain-slicked streets after dark, and high-contrast night interiors with saturated reds and blues bleeding into the frame. The camera is restless and handheld in the chase sequences, lingering on faces in tight close-ups during the quieter scenes, and the sound design leans on thudding bass, string-and-synth cues, and sudden silence before a jolt. Its vibe is sleazy, feverish and tense, with the sensual gloss of a music-video aesthetic cutting against a darker, grittier undertow. The pacing is brisk in the middle and slower in the emotional beats, with a central relationship between a damaged ex-cop and a sex worker that carries most of the feeling. Intensity is high: frequent sexualised content and nudity-adjacent scenes, a steady stream of violence including stabbings and a brutal killer's methods shown on screen, and a constant sense of menace. Not gentle viewing. Best suited to people who want a dark, sensual, morally murky thriller for a late night, and who are comfortable with explicit adult themes and graphic violence.
