The story

Jai and Ali return, this time on the trail of an international thief who steals priceless artifacts and has chosen Mumbai as his next target.

What it’s like

Glossy, saturated Bollywood studio sheen: bright daylight and neon-tinged night scenes, sun-warmed Mumbai streets, Greek-island and European locations rendered in postcard blues and golds, and an overall palette of chrome, leather and hot reds. The camera is restless and showy, with fast tracking shots, slow-motion hero entrances, and motorcycle chases filmed low and close, cutting to dance numbers with big choreographed ensembles. The score is loud and percussive, with synth-pop and Bollywood-style songs pushing every sequence forward. The vibe is breezy, playful and high-gloss, with plenty of swagger and a light, winking tone; it suits a weekend night with friends, a lively watch-along, or a fun escape when you want energy over depth. Pacing is brisk and bombastic, with the central pair's bantering, rivalry-turned-camaraderie giving the spectacle a warm core. Intensity is moderate: some gunfire, fistfights and car crashes, with peril played for thrills and no gore or graphic cruelty. Violence is stylised and bloodless. It's for viewers who want crowd-pleasing action, romance and music in one package.
