The story
As India faces a militant attack in Kashmir, the country’s best combat aviators join forces under a reckless yet brilliant squadron leader to form 'Air Dragons', faces mortal dangers and their inner demons.
What it’s like
Hard-edged aerial imagery against bright, saturated Indian skies: sun-bleached hangars, cold blue cockpit light, and the glare of mountain snow in Kashmir, with the camera riding inside jets and helicopters for vertigo-inducing, handheld-feeling movement. The sound is loud and mechanical, engine roar and radio chatter punctuated by a bombastic, percussive score and big swells of music during air sequences. Between flights the mood shifts to warm, crowded barracks and emotional close-ups under fluorescent or lamplight, with sweaty bravado giving way to quieter, rueful confessions. Vibe: adrenaline-fuelled and earnest, a big-screen Saturday-night spectacle. The pacing is brisk, with long musical interludes and romance threading through the tension. Violence is present and intense: air combat, explosions, and wartime casualties, with some blood and grim moments, though nothing graphic at close range and no sexual content beyond light romance. It suits viewers who want a loud, stylish, patriotic action drama, friendship under pressure, and soaring aerial set pieces.
