The story

When a high school teacher is asked a question in class about Jesus, her reasoned response lands her in deep trouble and could expel God from the public square once and for all.

What it’s like

Bright, flat classroom light and warm, earnest interiors give this film a clean, low-gloss look, with courtroom scenes in cooler, more formal tones and church sequences washed in soft amber. The camera stays mostly conventional: medium two-shots during debates, steady close-ups during speeches, and a few wide shots of a school hallway or a packed gallery that make the stakes feel public. Music leans on swelling strings and inspirational piano that rise at moments of conviction, and the dialogue carries most of the weight. The vibe is earnest and rallying, with a tone of hopeful resolve rather than dread. Its pacing moves between classroom confrontation, courtroom argument and personal reflection, and its people are mostly defined by where they stand on faith: a teacher and a student each pressed to say what they believe, and a few characters slowly reconsidering their certainty. Intensity is low: arguments run hot but there is no violence, gore, or sexual content, and little real fear. Best for viewers who want faith-centred drama about speaking up for belief, especially those who enjoy courtroom conflict and a sincere, uplifting ending.
