The story

When 13-year-old Henry Hart lands a job as Danger, the sidekick-in-training to superhero Captain Man, he must learn to navigate a double life balancing the challenges of 8th grade with the crazy adventures of a real-life crime fighter!

What it’s like

Bright, saturated studio colour under flat, even lighting: primary reds and blues on the superhero costumes, a sunny San Francisco-style city of tidy sets and green screen skylines, and a Nickelodeon sitcom finish with multi-camera framing, quick cuts, and a laugh track that rises after every punchline. The sound is bouncy, with a jaunty theme song, slapstick sound effects, and crisp synth stingers for each superhero stunt. Its vibe is loud, silly, and cheerfully busy, the kind of thing that works as background during an after-school snack or a lazy weekend afternoon. Episodes move briskly around a pile of small gags, with frequent set-piece pranks, mistaken identities, and a teen hero learning to balance school with secret missions, and the arc of its central boy is about growing into responsibility while keeping his friends close. Intensity is very low: cartoonish slapstick falls, goofy villains, and comic peril with no gore, no real cruelty, and no sexual content. It suits families with younger kids and anyone wanting undemanding, good-natured silliness.
