The story

She could do the responsible thing. Or she could go to Ibiza with her best friends to chase down a hot DJ. Easy choice.

What it’s like

Bright Mediterranean sunlight bleaching white villa walls, pool-blue water, and the sweaty, strobe-flickered dark of Ibiza nightclubs, shot in a mostly bright, handheld, comedy-of-errors style that keeps the camera close to its friends as they tumble between beach days and night-long dancing. The sound is pulsing house music and thumping club bass, with pop-song needle drops that shift the energy from lazy afternoons to frantic, glitter-soaked nights. The vibe is sun-drenched, giddy and a little scatterbrained, a lighthearted vacation escape. It suits a sunny weekend afternoon, a girls-night watch with friends, or something easy to half-follow while scrolling. The pacing is brisk and farcical, the register mostly warm and silly, with a central woman learning to trust her own instincts and her friendships over a fling. Language and sexual innuendo are frank, with some drinking and partying, and the sexual content stays comedic rather than explicit; there is no real violence and little danger beyond embarrassment. It is for people who want a bright, funny, female-led travel comedy about friendship and a messy holiday.
