The story

Passengers on board the mysterious Infinity Train must explore a series of endless cars that each contain unique worlds and puzzles to solve in order to unravel the mysteries of the train - and within themselves - to open the doorway home.

What it’s like

Hand-drawn animation with soft watercolor-like backgrounds and a warm, slightly washed palette that shifts sharply from car to car, so each new carriage feels like stepping into a different painting: a sun-bleached desert, a flickering neon arcade, a cold, mossy forest, a pastel town that hides something uneasy. The camera stays readable and mobile, favoring clean wide shots of strange interiors, with bright character close-ups for the quieter exchanges between travelers. The score is playful and synth-tinged, dropping into hushed piano and near silence when the mood turns wistful. Its vibe is curious, wistful, and gently eerie, the kind of show that suits a long-haul flight, a lazy weekend afternoon, or a comfort rewatch with someone you like. Pacing is episodic and puzzle-driven, with each car offering a self-contained mystery that slowly builds into a larger thread, and the emotional arcs follow frightened, prickly young people learning to trust one another and face their own regrets. Intensity is mild: some peril, creature threats and brief scuffles, but no gore and little real cruelty. It is for viewers who want an imaginative adventure with heart, a touch of unease, and nothing that sits too heavy.
