The story
Simrita, a doctor, performs her first surgery on Viraj, a man she hates. She soon realises that she accidentally left her watch inside his body and must do whatever it takes to save her career.
What it’s like
Bright, glossy studio light, saturated primary colours and frequent cuts to big, choreographed musical numbers give this a loud, confectionery feel, with hospital corridors that look wiped clean and the mood turned up. The score is bouncy pop-film music with brass stabs and heavy percussion, and the rhythm is brisk, with comedy beats and romantic bickering arriving in quick succession. Its vibe is cheerful, chaotic and warm, best suited to a lighthearted Friday night, a group watch, or an easy comfort rewatch when you want to laugh and tap your feet. The emotional register stays playful: an antagonistic pair with a volatile dynamic slowly softens into affection, and the arc is about two stubborn people reluctantly coming around to each other. Intensity is moderate: there are action set pieces with stylised fights and slapstick-style injury, some crude jokes and suggestive romance, and surgical scenes played for laughs rather than gore. It suits viewers who want big-screen Bollywood energy, romantic comedy with song and dance, and nothing too grim.
