The story
Krrish and his father must team up to save the world from a psychokinetic evil man named Kaal and his army of mutants.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated Bollywood superhero spectacle: glossy digital imagery with high-key daylight in Mumbai streets and sun-washed Hong Kong-style skylines, bold primary colours, and a sheen of CGI that leans into comic-book flash. Camera moves are kinetic, with swooping aerial shots, quick cuts through fight choreography, and close, earnest framing on faces during quieter family scenes. The score swells with orchestral and electronic bursts, punctuated by full song-and-dance numbers that break the action into colourful set pieces. Its vibe is brash, sincere and upbeat, a crowd-pleasing lark rather than a brooding one. It suits a Saturday afternoon with friends, a family movie night, or a comfort rewatch when you want big energy. Pacing is long and generous, with the runtime carried by melodrama, romance and a father-son bond that gradually grows warmer. Violence is stylised and frequent: action sequences with punches, explosions and energy blasts, a deadly virus plot and villainous menace, but little gore and nothing graphic. Romantic and dance scenes are chaste. It is for viewers who want playful, big-hearted superhero adventure with heart and musical interludes.
