The story
In a college class where students are paired up and sent on dates, a sophomore is partnered with an upperclassman whose gentle kindness steals his heart.
What it’s like
Campus-bright and softly romantic, with the restless energy of a university term: corridors, cafés, and the awkward, hopeful choreography of two people trying not to look too interested. The mood swings between sweet and aching, with lingering glances doing much of the work and a gentle, wistful pull that tightens into jealousy and heartbreak as the feelings sharpen. Its pacing is steady, built on small exchanges and the slow tilt of a crush that refuses to stay quiet. The emotional arc follows a young man growing more certain of his feelings while a rival affection, a friendship, and the weight of coming out complicate every step. Sexual tension and unrequited longing run through it, and a stalking thread brings an uneasy edge, though the tone stays mostly tender rather than violent. There is no graphic gore, and any harm lands as emotional strain rather than physical brutality. It suits viewers who want a bittersweet queer romance with a slow-burning triangle, a comfort-watch of youthful yearning, or a late-night binge when they're in the mood for ache more than action.
