The story
Hannah Wells tutors hockey captain Garrett Graham to win over her crush. Their deal becomes real connection as they face their pasts. Friends Logan, Dean, Tucker, and Allie navigate college life and love.
What it’s like
Warm, character-led romance with a compassionate, self-discovery core, the kind of show that settles in through its people rather than through spectacle. The emotional register is earnest and tender, with drama coming from pasts resurfacing and young adults working out who they are as much as who they love. Its pacing suits sitting down for a few episodes on a slow weekend or an easy evening, and it works well for anyone who likes college-set stories where friendships carry as much weight as the central pairing. A tutor and a hockey captain start from an arrangement that slowly becomes sincere, and the ensemble of close friends gives the show room to breathe between their moments together. It is a fit for viewers who want a romance that prizes emotional honesty and gentleness, who enjoy watching characters grow up in small, believable steps, and who want a comforting, heartfelt watch that leans toward hope rather than tension.
