The story
Three childhood friends embark on a trip to Goa that goes completely off-track when they wake up in their hotel room to find a cache of cocaine belonging to a don.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated Goa light: sunburnt beaches, sweaty hotel corridors, neon-lit clubs and cramped scooter rides, all shot with restless handheld energy and quick cuts that keep the frame moving. The colour is loud and warm, the score bounces between jaunty pop and tense bass stings, and the sound of traffic, crowds and rapid-fire dialogue fills most scenes. The vibe is breezy and chaotic, a road-trip caper that runs on banter and escalating panic. Pacing is brisk, with set pieces that snowball, and the emotional arc follows three old friends whose easy loyalty gets tested as their weekend turns frantic. Violence is present but comic-tinged and brief, with some threatening gangster figures, scuffles and a few sharp bursts of menace; there is no gore, and the drug theme stays in the background of the jokes rather than in graphic detail. Crude humour, slang and some sexual innuendo are part of the comic texture. It suits a lively evening with friends or a light, laugh-driven watch for people who enjoy caper comedies with a chaotic streak and a warm core of friendship.
