The story

"Stolen Memory" introduces two new missions where the player assumes the role of Commander Shepard, an elite human soldier who must recruit a new squad member named Kasumi Goto and help her steal a graybox that contains important information and memories of her partner.

What it’s like

Cool blue and violet interiors dominate this downloadable add-on, with corporate lobbies, sleek penthouse suites and dim museum-like vaults lit by cold display glow and the soft shimmer of holographic panels. The art direction borrows the polished, moody sheen of a high-end heist thriller: slick glass, reflective floors, and shadowy corridors where a single spotlight picks out a figure. The sound design is hushed and precise, with a low synth pulse under tense stealth sections, the soft tick of keypads and muted footsteps, and brief bursts of firefight noise that cut through the quiet. Pacing alternates between patient creeping and short, sharp combat encounters, so it moves in tight, self-contained bursts rather than sprawling sessions. Its tone is cool, playful and conspiratorial, with a wry edge in the banter and a sense of sly competence, and the emotional thread is a guarded thief slowly opening up to a team that trusts her. Violence is firearm-based and stylised, with no gore, though gunfire and enemy deaths are frequent. It suits players who want a compact, stylish sci-fi caper with a light character story, especially fans of the Mass Effect squad dynamic.
