The story
Three henpecked friends try to escape their unhappy marriages by seeking out some extramarital fun, only to end up being blackmailed.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated studio colour and bustling, cluttered interiors, with broad physical comedy staged in wide, busy frames and punchy cuts that pick up speed as the farce tightens. Music arrives in glossy, upbeat song sequences, and the soundtrack is loud, bouncy and full of comic timing. The vibe is breezy, cheeky and chaotic, a lighthearted caper that suits a silly night in, a comfort rewatch, or something to put on while you do something else. Its humour leans on innuendo, double meanings and adult situations, but nothing is explicit; the sexual content stays suggestive and gag-driven. Violence is limited to slapstick, pratfalls and mock-threatening confrontations, with no gore and little real menace, though the blackmail plot brings a steady undercurrent of anxiety that the film mostly plays for laughs. Its emotional register is buoyant, with the three leads' friendship and their scramble to cover up their mess at the centre. It is for viewers who enjoy broad, playful Hindi comedy with a lot of energy and a little naughtiness.
