The story
Amar, Meet and Prem go into a small town where they encounter a 'femme fatale' in the form of Ragini. Ragini is everything they had dreamed of, but she slowly turns into their worst nightmare!
What it’s like
Bright, overlit studio interiors and glossy, saturated colour give this Hindi comedy the look of a slick, over-decorated sitcom, with hotel corridors, nightclub pinks and a small-town street that feels more set than place. The camera stays busy: quick cuts, mugging close-ups, sudden zooms when someone gets a shock, and a constant stream of bright pop songs and slapstick stings doing most of the emotional signalling. The horror strand arrives as flickers of eerie red light, creaking doors and a few jump-scare beats rather than real dread. Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani play three louche friends whose comic escalation is loud, bawdy and sometimes crude, with innuendo, drinking and sexual humour running through it. Violence is cartoonish and brief, with no gore. The vibe is loud, silly and fizzy, best for a lazy group watch or a night when you want noisy, unserious chaos. It suits viewers who enjoy broad Bollywood comedy and campy scares, not those wanting anything gentle or subtle.
