The story
An expert dancer Munna who idolizes the king of pop, reluctantly tutors a gangster until their developing bond gets disrupted by their common romantic interest towards the same woman.
What it’s like
Bright, saturated Mumbai street colour and glossy studio lighting, with the camera leaning into dance: wide, fluid frames that hold whole bodies in motion, cut to the beat rather than to drama. The sound is a loud, sweet mix of Bollywood-pop and Michael Jackson-inspired grooves, big brass and synth hooks, with the bass doing most of the emotional work. Its vibe is exuberant and playful, with a warm, slightly cheesy sheen that suits a Friday night with friends, a party-prep playlist, or an afternoon when you want something upbeat and kinetic. Pacing is brisk and musical, with the story moving in set-piece bursts between rehearsal montages, friendly sparring and lighter romantic tension. The emotional register stays light: an uptight dancer and a flashy gangster slowly find mutual respect, and the arc is about rivals softening into friends. The intensity is mild, with some scuffles and stylised fight moments but no gore, little menace, and romance kept chaste. It is for people who want high-energy dance spectacle, big musical numbers and an easy, feel-good comedy with a few action beats.
