The story
Four unsettling short films exploring psychological horror: a man who barks like a dog at strangers, madness at a party, eerie phenomena following a friend's death, and a lakeside gathering cursed by water.
What it’s like
Four self-contained segments, each with its own ordinary-seeming characters, build a sense of psychological unease rather than spectacle. One follows a man whose behaviour turns strange in front of strangers, another a party that slips out of control, a third the eerie occurrences that gather after a death, and the last a lakeside gathering where the water seems to hold a grudge. Expect a restless, creeping atmosphere in which dread accumulates through small wrongnesses and uneasy silences more than jump scares. The rhythm shifts from segment to segment, so the mood stays off-balance throughout. The intensity is mainly tension and disturbance, and the level of on-screen violence isn't something to assume, so check before choosing it for someone sensitive. It suits a late-night viewing alone, for people who enjoy horror anthologies where the discomfort lingers after each short ends.
